PostHeaderIcon Getting Started

Getting started in Internet Marketing is not as difficult as it might seem. What makes promoting Help Fix My Finances even simpler is that we created this product for what is known as a "starving crowd." What makes a starving crowd important in the Internet Marketing field is that finding a buyer is generally easier than finding a buyer in a more obscure niche.

Now, we might have a product and know that there is an audience willing to buy our product, but how do we start making sales? There are many different ways to go about earning Clickbank commissions -- more to list here. So, what we have here is something of a recommendations list, depending on your level of knowledge and interest.

Before we discuss the different places to visit, remember that there are plenty of no-cost sites that will teach as much as you would like to know about internet marketing.

Absolute Beginners

For people just getting started who want or need to start from ground zero, the Wealthy Affiliate is the site to join. This is where I learned about Internet Marketing and, while expensive at $39/month (or $29 if you prepay a full year in advance), it certainly lays out all of the essentials in plain English. Their exclusive forum offers a ton of great pointers, particularly for those who really want to make a living at Internet Marketing. Wealthy Affiliate is also considered the industry leader in terms of educating beginners on "how to" succeed.

A great, FREE place to visit is the Digital Point Forums. Here, you can learn as much as you possibly can about how to succeed as an internet marketer. Another place I found helpful was the Warrior Forum, which is a lot more focused than Digital Point. The difference between a paid service like the Wealthy Affiliate (above) and these free forums is that you have to put your research together on your own with these free sites.

Mid-Range Marketers

For people who understand the basics and understand the essentials of Internet Marketing, there are plenty of options out there. I list my FREE favorites here:

Long Tail Treasure: this blog has nine lessons and some other information about proper Internet Marketing. It provides a lot "filler" for those complicated areas that even Wealthy Affiliate seems to skim over a little too quickly. This is particularly useful for marketers who prefer the cheaper options for list building, site promotion, and article marketing.

Bum Marketing by Travis Sago. I met Travis through Wealthy Affiliate and one of his own products was what helped me kick start my own success in Internet Marketing. His blog is free and provides a wealth of information on the cheapest and one of the most "proven" methods out there - article marketing.

Heavy Duty Marketers

For people who already know what they are doing but need a way to kick-start some sales for cheap.

The service I use to send out effective, bulk articles is through the Unique Article Wizard. This runs me $67 per month but submits to highly targeted sources that WANT the articles I write. There is another free service by Brad Callen called (don't quote me) "Article Submitter" but I choose UAW for the success I have had in the past.

If you have any suggestions on other sources (I know I missed many) please let me know!
